David Karst

David Karst is an associate attorney at the Law Firm of Bolen, Parker, Brenner, Lee, and Miller, Ltd. Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he received his B.A. in History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2015 and his J.D. from Marquette University Law School in 2018. He was admitted to the practice law in Wisconsin in 2019 and in Louisiana in 2021. Initially starting out as a solo practitioner practicing bankruptcy law, he then worked at a law firm in Beloit, WI, and has now been with Bolen since October of 2021. Along with his work at the firm, which focuses primarily on insurance defense, he is appointed felony cases through the Louisiana 9th JDC Indigent Defense Board. His passion for the law is oriented not only toward criminal defense, but also to bankruptcy law. He is an active member of the Alexandria Bar Association-Young Lawyers Division.
