Madeline J. Lee

Madeline J. Lee is a partner, specializing in insurance defense litigation, with an emphasis in defending health care providers and charitable organizations.  She also provides workers’ compensation defense to many of those same organizations.  After obtaining her undergraduate degree in Business from L.S.U. in 1987, she obtained her law degree from L.S.U. Law School in 1990 and started as an associate at the same law firm where she became a partner in 1995. She is an instructor at the Trial Advocacy Program at LSU Law School (since 2001) & former board of director with the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel (LADC) (2014 -2016).  Ms. Lee has been a speaker at numerous seminars; most recently, the Dazzling Disney multi-topic seminar sponsored by the Louisiana State Bar Association in Orlando, Florida, and Louisiana Disciplinary Board seminars in Lafayette, Shreveport & Alexandria, speaking on the subject of medical malpractice litigation in Louisiana. She also serves on the Client Assistance Fund Committee for the Louisiana State Bar Association, is a former board member of the Alexandria Zoo (2005-2011) and Coastal Conservation Association (CCA) (2010-2015), Central Louisiana Chapter. She is also a member of the Defense Research Institute and Louisiana Native Plant Society.
